The Land of the Super Boring

bonus

Our land, our shore,
yearns for something to believe in.
White skies. White seas.
Bring us (please) something to believe in.

Stirring below, starting to grow,
is a world full of colors
we can barely remember.
Stirring below, pushing through snow,
there is life, wild life
coming back from December.

Frost lifts, crowds yearn.
Our turn for something to believe in.
Ice melts, streams flow.
All creation knows
something's on the move.

Sweeping the land written in sand
is a world full of colors
we can barely remember.
This is the thaw, this is morning to all,
this is life, wild life,
coming back from December.

Sweeping across the land,
on the move again,
bringing back colors
mourning to joy.

Stirring below, starting to grow
there's a world full of colors
we can barely remember.
Stirring below, pushing through snow,
there is life, wild life
coming back from December.
Sweeping the land written in sand
is a world full of colors
we can barely remember.
This is the thaw, this is morning to all,
this is life, wild life
coming back from December.

Wow, that's kind of ironic considering we just got our firt major snowfall today. Well actually is mostly sleet and hail.

I agree with Daniel.

It's cold out...

the Newsboys authored that poem. i put it up cause its pretty. and yeah i was thinking how ironic it was when i typed it. but i kinda like the way it says life is coming back from december, as though december were a place it visited rather than a torment chasing it down. so i guess it works.

its one of the two bonus tracks off the limited edition of Go, which has made its way onto wikipedia by the way...i almost got too white&nerdy....
